Terms of service
OVERVIEW
Welcome to CAMPONE.
The terms “CAMPONE,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to CAMPONE and the business operating this website and online store. CAMPONE provides this website, including its information, content, features, tools, products, ordering functions, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer products and Services to you.
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and any other policies or terms referenced on this website, govern your access to and use of the Services.
By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, creating an account, placing an order, paying a deposit, or purchasing a CAMPONE product, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Services.
SECTION 1 — ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or jurisdiction of residence and have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
You agree to provide complete, current, and accurate information when placing an order, requesting a quote, creating an account, submitting vehicle information, or communicating with CAMPONE.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.
You may not use another person's account without authorization or provide false identity, payment, vehicle, shipping, or contact information.
SECTION 2 — CAMPONE PRODUCTS
CAMPONE products include truck caps, integrated truck camping systems, rooftop-tent-related systems, accessories, components, and related products.
Certain CAMPONE products are designed for particular vehicles, model years, truck-bed configurations, mounting arrangements, or intended applications.
We make reasonable efforts to accurately present product photographs, specifications, dimensions, weights, features, materials, colors, and configurations.
However:
- Product colors may appear differently depending on your screen or device.
- Dimensions and weights may be approximate.
- Product specifications may be updated as designs are improved.
- Photographs may show optional equipment, accessories, vehicles, or configurations that are not included with the purchased product.
- Minor differences that do not materially affect product function may occur between production units.
CAMPONE reserves the right to improve, modify, update, or discontinue products or specifications without prior notice, provided that accepted orders will be fulfilled substantially in accordance with the applicable order terms.
SECTION 3 — VEHICLE FITMENT
Many CAMPONE products are vehicle-specific.
Before ordering, you are responsible for providing accurate information regarding your vehicle, including where applicable:
- Manufacturer
- Model
- Model year
- Bed length
- Cab configuration
- Trim level
- Factory equipment
- Aftermarket modifications
- Bed accessories
- Bed liners
- Rails or mounting systems
- Other information reasonably requested by CAMPONE
You are responsible for confirming that the product ordered is appropriate for your vehicle configuration.
If you are uncertain about compatibility, please contact CAMPONE before placing an order.
Do not drill, cut, wire, modify, permanently mount, or install a product until you have verified fitment.
Returns resulting from incorrect or incomplete vehicle information supplied by the customer may be subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
SECTION 4 — VEHICLE CAPACITY AND SAFE USE
CAMPONE products add weight to the vehicle and may affect vehicle handling, payload, center of gravity, fuel economy, braking, suspension performance, and overall operating characteristics.
The customer is responsible for confirming the vehicle manufacturer's:
- Payload capacity
- Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)
- Gross Axle Weight Ratings (GAWR)
- Roof or bed load limitations
- Tire load ratings
- Towing limitations
- Other applicable vehicle restrictions
CAMPONE does not increase, modify, or replace any vehicle manufacturer's rated capacities.
The combined weight of the CAMPONE product, passengers, cargo, accessories, water, equipment, and other loads must remain within applicable vehicle limits.
The vehicle owner and operator are responsible for safe loading and operation.
SECTION 5 — ORDERS AND ORDER ACCEPTANCE
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase.
An order is not finally accepted until CAMPONE confirms acceptance and any required payment or deposit has been successfully processed.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:
- Pricing or listing errors
- Suspected fraud
- Payment authorization issues
- Product availability
- Incorrect vehicle information
- Fitment concerns
- Shipping limitations
- Compliance or legal restrictions
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue any refund due in accordance with applicable law and our policies.
Please review all order information carefully before submitting your purchase.
Your purchase is also subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
The Shopify template you provided similarly treats an order as an offer to purchase and makes returns subject to the separate refund policy.
SECTION 6 — PRICING, TAXES, AND PAYMENT
Prices displayed on the website are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, advertised product prices do not include:
- Sales tax
- Shipping or freight
- Residential delivery charges
- Liftgate service
- Installation
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- Brokerage charges
- Other third-party fees
Applicable taxes may be calculated based on the shipping destination and applicable tax requirements.
Prices, promotions, and discounts may change without notice before an order is accepted.
The price applicable to an accepted order will be the price stated in the applicable checkout, invoice, quotation, or order confirmation.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
SECTION 7 — PRE-ORDERS AND DEPOSITS
Certain CAMPONE products may be offered on a pre-order or deposit basis.
When a deposit option is offered, the applicable product page, quotation, checkout page, invoice, or order confirmation will state:
- Deposit amount or percentage
- Remaining balance
- Estimated availability or production timing
- Cancellation conditions
- Any applicable non-refundable amount
A deposit may reserve inventory, production capacity, materials, or a production position.
The remaining balance must be paid in accordance with the applicable order terms before shipment or at another agreed milestone.
Production and delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed completion dates unless CAMPONE expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
If a particular deposit is stated to be non-refundable, that condition will be disclosed before or at the time the order is accepted.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
SECTION 8 — CUSTOM AND SPECIAL ORDERS
Certain products may be manufactured, configured, modified, or procured specifically for a customer's vehicle or requirements.
Custom or special-order products may include:
- Non-standard dimensions
- Custom finishes
- Special colors
- Special mounting configurations
- Vehicle-specific modifications
- Customer-requested fabrication
- Non-stock accessories or components
Custom and special-order products may have different cancellation and return conditions.
Any material restriction will be disclosed in the quotation, product page, invoice, order confirmation, or other applicable ordering documentation.
SECTION 9 — SHIPPING AND FREIGHT
Many CAMPONE products are large or oversized and may require palletized, crated, commercial, residential, or LTL freight delivery.
Shipping charges may be calculated during checkout or quoted separately depending on:
- Product dimensions and weight
- Destination ZIP Code
- Commercial or residential delivery
- Liftgate requirements
- Terminal pickup
- Special handling
- Access limitations
Shipping and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Carrier delays, weather, natural disasters, customs delays, transportation disruptions, labor disruptions, and other circumstances outside CAMPONE's reasonable control may affect delivery.
The Shopify Terms you supplied likewise distinguish product pricing from shipping, taxes, handling, customs, and import charges.
SECTION 10 — FREIGHT INSPECTION
Customers should inspect freight shipments promptly upon delivery.
Before signing the carrier's delivery receipt, please inspect the shipment for visible:
- Crate damage
- Pallet damage
- Punctures
- Crushing
- Missing components
- Visible product damage
If damage is visible, note it clearly on the carrier's delivery receipt and take photographs whenever reasonably possible.
Keep all shipping materials until the product has been inspected.
Concealed damage discovered after unpacking should be reported to CAMPONE promptly.
Failure to document obvious freight damage may affect our ability to pursue a carrier claim.
SECTION 11 — INSTALLATION
CAMPONE products must be installed in accordance with applicable product instructions and good mechanical practices.
Professional installation may be recommended for certain products or configurations.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- Mounting surfaces are suitable.
- Fasteners and clamps are properly installed.
- Electrical connections are safely completed.
- Product clearances are adequate.
- Mounting hardware remains properly tightened.
- Installation complies with applicable vehicle and safety requirements.
If installation requires drilling, wiring, structural alteration, or other permanent modification, carefully confirm fitment before proceeding.
Improper installation, unauthorized modification, misuse, or failure to follow installation instructions may affect return eligibility or warranty coverage.
SECTION 12 — PRODUCT USE AND MAINTENANCE
Customers are responsible for reading and following applicable CAMPONE operating, installation, maintenance, loading, and safety instructions.
Products should be periodically inspected for:
- Loose fasteners
- Mounting integrity
- Seal condition
- Structural damage
- Wear
- Water intrusion
- Electrical issues
- Damage caused by off-road use or impacts
Do not use a product that appears damaged, improperly secured, or unsafe.
SECTION 13 — RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Returns, cancellations, exchanges, freight claims, and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
Please review that policy before placing your order.
Large, installed, vehicle-specific, custom, special-order, or modified products may be subject to additional return limitations as described in that policy.
SECTION 14 — WARRANTIES
Any product warranty provided by CAMPONE will be governed by the written warranty terms applicable to that product.
Except for warranties expressly provided in writing, and except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, CAMPONE does not make additional representations or warranties beyond those expressly stated.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
SECTION 15 — THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
CAMPONE products may be used with vehicles, accessories, appliances, electronics, mounting systems, or other products manufactured by third parties.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, CAMPONE does not manufacture, control, or warrant third-party products.
Compatibility with third-party equipment may depend on the specific product, installation, vehicle, and configuration.
Third-party warranties and terms are governed by the applicable manufacturer or provider.
SECTION 16 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The CAMPONE website and its content, including:
- CAMPONE trademarks
- Logos
- Product names
- Product designs

are owned by or licensed to CAMPONE and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publish, scrape, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from CAMPONE content without prior written permission.
CAMPONE names, logos, product names, designs, and slogans may not be used without authorization.
Your uploaded Shopify terms contain the same basic protection for trademarks, images, video, product content, and website materials.
SECTION 17 — ACCEPTABLE WEBSITE USE
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes.
You may not:
- Use the website for fraudulent or illegal activity.
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or customer information.
- Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code.
- Interfere with website operation or security.
- Impersonate another person or business.

- Scrape, extract, or systematically collect website content without authorization.
- Use automated systems in a manner that materially disrupts the Services.
We may restrict access where necessary to protect CAMPONE, customers, Shopify, or the security of the Services.
SECTION 18 — THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND TOOLS
Our website may include links, applications, payment services, embedded content, maps, videos, financing tools, or other functionality provided by third parties.
CAMPONE does not control all third-party websites or services.
Your use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.
You should review those policies before using such services.
SECTION 19 — SHOPIFY
Our online store is powered by Shopify.
Shopify provides the ecommerce technology that enables CAMPONE to provide the online Services.
However, purchases made through this store are transactions directly between you and CAMPONE.
Shopify is not the seller of CAMPONE products and is not responsible for CAMPONE product manufacturing, fitment, installation, delivery, warranty, or customer-service obligations.
This preserves the relationship contemplated by the Shopify Terms template you uploaded.
SECTION 20 — PRIVACY
Personal information collected through the Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Because our store is hosted by Shopify, certain information may also be processed by Shopify and other service providers involved in ecommerce transactions, payments, analytics, fraud prevention, fulfillment, and website operation.
Please review our Privacy Policy for additional information.
SECTION 21 — REVIEWS, PHOTOS, AND FEEDBACK
If you voluntarily submit reviews, photographs, videos, testimonials, suggestions, or other content to CAMPONE, you represent that you have the right to provide that content.
Where you authorize CAMPONE to use such content, CAMPONE may use it for legitimate business, marketing, product-development, and promotional purposes in accordance with applicable law.
You may not submit unlawful, defamatory, misleading, infringing, or malicious content.
SECTION 22 — ERRORS AND INACCURACIES
Occasionally information on the website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to:
- Product descriptions
- Specifications
- Pricing
- Promotions
- Availability
- Freight charges
- Delivery estimates
CAMPONE may correct such information and update the website when errors are identified.
If an error materially affects an order already placed, we will contact you and handle the order in accordance with applicable law.
SECTION 23 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE WEBSITE AND ONLINE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
CAMPONE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE WILL ALWAYS BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
PRODUCT WARRANTIES, IF ANY, ARE GOVERNED BY THE APPLICABLE WRITTEN PRODUCT WARRANTY.
THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT ANY RIGHTS OR WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE DISCLAIMED.
SECTION 24 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAMPONE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF USE, OR SIMILAR LOSSES ARISING FROM THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAMPONE'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM A PARTICULAR PRODUCT OR TRANSACTION WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID TO CAMPONE FOR THE PRODUCT OR TRANSACTION GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law.
SECTION 25 — INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold CAMPONE harmless from third-party claims resulting from your:
- Unlawful use of the Services
- Material violation of these Terms
- Infringement of third-party rights
- Unauthorized modification or misuse of CAMPONE products
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from CAMPONE's own conduct for which liability cannot legally be disclaimed.
SECTION 26 — FORCE MAJEURE
CAMPONE will not be responsible for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Severe weather
- Fire
- Flood
- War
- Government action
- Transportation disruption
- Carrier interruption
- Labor disputes
- Supply-chain disruption
- Material shortages
- Power or communications failures
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays affecting accepted orders.
SECTION 27 — SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
SECTION 28 — WAIVER AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Failure by CAMPONE to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
These Terms, together with policies, quotations, invoices, product-specific terms, and other documents incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Services and applicable purchases.
Where product-specific written terms expressly conflict with these general Terms, the more specific written terms applicable to the order will control to the extent of that conflict.
SECTION 29 — GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and transactions with CAMPONE will be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
Any dispute that is not otherwise resolved shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law.
SECTION 30 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The current version will be posted on this page together with the applicable “Last Updated” date.
Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required or permitted by law.
