Shipping policy

At CAMPONE, many of our products are large, vehicle-specific, and require specialized transportation. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are prepared, shipped, delivered, and inspected.

Please review this policy before placing your order.

Order Processing

Orders are processed after CAMPONE confirms the order details, product availability, vehicle fitment information where applicable, and required payment or deposit.

Processing times vary depending on the product.

In-stock products may be prepared for shipment after order confirmation and payment processing.

Pre-order, special-order, or custom-configured products may require additional production or preparation time.

Any estimated production or shipping timeframe provided on the product page, quotation, invoice, or order confirmation is an estimate unless CAMPONE expressly states otherwise in writing.

Shipping Methods

Depending on product size, weight, destination, and availability, CAMPONE orders may ship by:

  • Parcel carrier
  • Ground freight
  • LTL freight
  • Palletized freight
  • Crated freight
  • Other specialized transportation methods

Large CAMPONE products such as Truck Caps, CAP1 Classic systems, UniLift™ systems, and similar oversized products may require freight delivery rather than standard parcel shipping.

Shipping Charges

Unless specifically stated otherwise, shipping and freight charges are not included in the advertised product price.

Shipping charges may be:

  • Calculated at checkout
  • Quoted separately before shipment
  • Included in a written quotation or invoice
  • Confirmed after the delivery address and delivery requirements are reviewed

Freight cost may vary based on:

  • Delivery ZIP Code
  • Product dimensions and weight
  • Commercial or residential address
  • Liftgate requirements
  • Limited-access delivery
  • Remote-area delivery
  • Terminal pickup
  • Special handling requirements
  • Carrier availability

If additional delivery services are requested or required after the original quote is issued, additional freight charges may apply.

Residential Delivery and Liftgate Service

Large freight shipments delivered to a residential address may require additional carrier services.

These may include:

  • Residential delivery
  • Liftgate service
  • Delivery appointment
  • Limited-access delivery
  • Special handling

If your delivery location does not have a loading dock, forklift, or other suitable unloading equipment, liftgate service may be required.

Please provide accurate delivery information when placing your order or requesting a freight quote.

Additional carrier charges resulting from incomplete or inaccurate delivery information may be charged to the customer where permitted by law.

Commercial Delivery

Commercial freight rates may apply only when the delivery location qualifies as a commercial business address and has appropriate freight access.

A commercial address may require:

  • Normal tractor-trailer access
  • Regular business receiving hours
  • Suitable unloading equipment
  • A loading dock or forklift where required

A business operated from a residence may still be classified by the carrier as a residential delivery location.

Delivery Appointments

For many LTL freight shipments, the carrier may contact the recipient to schedule delivery.

Customers are responsible for providing a valid:

  • Contact name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Delivery address

Please make sure someone authorized to receive and inspect the shipment is available during the scheduled delivery window.

Missed delivery appointments, re-delivery, storage, or address correction fees charged by the carrier may become the customer's responsibility where applicable.

Delivery Times

Transit and delivery times are estimates only unless CAMPONE expressly provides a guaranteed delivery service in writing.

Delivery may be affected by:

  • Carrier delays
  • Weather
  • Road conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Labor disruptions
  • Freight terminal congestion
  • Equipment availability
  • Holiday schedules
  • Government actions
  • Customs clearance
  • Events outside CAMPONE's reasonable control

If a material shipping delay occurs, CAMPONE will communicate available information and provide any options required under applicable law.

Pre-Order Shipping

Products identified as Pre-Order are not immediately available for shipment.

Estimated production or availability periods may be provided on the product page, quotation, checkout page, invoice, or order confirmation.

Pre-order shipping dates are estimates and may change due to:

  • Production scheduling
  • Material availability
  • Transportation availability
  • Product configuration
  • Supplier delays
  • Other circumstances affecting production or fulfillment

CAMPONE will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes to estimated availability.

Payment and cancellation terms for pre-orders are governed by the applicable order terms and our Return & Refund Policy.

Vehicle-Specific Orders

Certain CAMPONE products are manufactured or configured for specific vehicle models, model years, truck-bed configurations, or mounting systems.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle information before shipment.

Please verify your:

  • Vehicle make
  • Model
  • Model year
  • Bed length
  • Cab configuration
  • Relevant factory or aftermarket modifications

before the order enters final fulfillment.

Incorrect vehicle information may delay shipment or affect product fitment.

Freight Inspection at Delivery

Large freight shipments should be carefully inspected before the delivery receipt is signed.

Please inspect:

  • Outer packaging
  • Pallet
  • Crate
  • Carton
  • Product surfaces

  • Packaging condition

for signs of damage.

Examples of freight damage may include:

  • Crushed packaging
  • Broken crates
  • Punctures
  • Forklift damage

If damage is visible, note the damage clearly on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing.

Whenever possible, take photographs of:

  • The entire shipment
  • Freight label
  • Packaging
  • Damaged areas
  • Product condition

Keep all packaging materials until the product has been fully inspected.

Concealed Freight Damage

Some shipping damage may not be visible until the product is unpacked.

If concealed damage is discovered, please contact CAMPONE promptly at:

info@camponecamper.com

Please include:

  • Order number
  • Description of the damage
  • Photographs of the product
  • Photographs of the packaging
  • Photographs of the freight label or delivery documentation when available

Do not discard packaging materials until the claim has been reviewed.

Damaged or Incorrect Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or different from what you ordered, please contact CAMPONE before installing, drilling, wiring, modifying, or using the product.

Depending on the circumstances, CAMPONE may:

  • Provide replacement parts
  • Arrange repair
  • Replace the affected product
  • Assist with a freight claim
  • Authorize another appropriate resolution

The appropriate remedy will depend on the nature of the issue.

Changes to the Delivery Address

Please contact CAMPONE as soon as possible if the delivery address needs to be changed.

Once a freight shipment has been booked or tendered to the carrier, address changes may:

  • Delay delivery
  • Require carrier approval
  • Result in additional charges

CAMPONE cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after shipment has entered the carrier network.

Order Pickup

Customer pickup may be available only when specifically confirmed by CAMPONE in advance.

Please do not arrive at a CAMPONE location, warehouse, or freight facility for pickup unless you have received written pickup confirmation and instructions.

CAMPONE may offer international shipping to selected destinations.

International shipping availability, freight cost, and delivery terms may vary depending on:

  • Destination country
  • Product
  • Freight method
  • Customs requirements
  • Import restrictions
  • Local delivery conditions

Unless expressly included in the CAMPONE quotation or invoice, the customer is responsible for applicable:

  • Import duties
  • Customs charges
  • VAT or other local taxes
  • Brokerage fees
  • Import clearance charges
  • Destination handling fees

International delivery estimates may be affected by customs processing and local carrier conditions.

Please contact us before ordering if you need international shipping assistance.

Shipping Restrictions

CAMPONE reserves the right to decline shipment to locations where:

  • Freight access is not reasonably available
  • Carrier service is unavailable
  • Import restrictions apply
  • Delivery conditions create unreasonable safety or logistical concerns
  • Shipment would violate applicable law or carrier requirements

If CAMPONE cannot fulfill an accepted order because delivery is unavailable, we will contact the customer regarding available options.

Returns

Shipping and return freight for returned products are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

Original freight, shipping, residential delivery, liftgate, expedited delivery, installation, or other service charges may be non-refundable except where otherwise stated in our Return & Refund Policy or required by applicable law.

Customers should not return large freight products without prior authorization from CAMPONE.
